BAYAN IN THE CONTEXT OF MUSIC CULTURE OF XX CENTURY

Abstract
The article analyzes the specificity of addressing to bayan in the musical space of the 20th century. The extensive performance capabilities of the instrument contributed to a significant interest in him. In collectives, who include a button accordion, it is possible to form a diverse repertoire, which includes both works of the academic field of musical art and variety art. In recent years, there has been an expansion of the style boundaries of works intended for bayan performance, which contribute to the "reincarnation" of this instrument. Evidence of the universality of bayan and the prospects for its further use is а newest performing compositions, for which the choice of works is characteristic, regardless of their style, expanding the repertoire palette.
