Caractères pétrographiques et géochimiques des granitoïdes birimiens du bassin de la Comoé et environs (Sud de la Côte d’Ivoire)
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Science Invention - Year 2018, Vol 7, Issue 12
Abstract
The present study investigates the petrographic and geochemical characteristics (major elements) of granitoids of the Comoé basin and surroundings. The petrographic characterization allows us to memorize that the study area is full of a variety of granitoids: granodiorites, granites and tonalites. Chemical analysis indicates that these granitoids are ferrous and magnesium types. They would come from continental crust and mantle and would be emplaced in a collision context.
