Journal Title: Prohominum - Year 2024, Vol 6, Issue 3
Abstract
The integration of Moodle into the teaching of the taxation module in accounting is crucial for modernizing educational methodologies, facilitating a more interactive, accessible learning experience aligned with the demands of the contemporary digital workenvironment. Therefore, this article analyzes the feasibility of integrating Moodle into the teaching of taxation within an educational institution. The mixed methodology employed includes an observation and a survey administered to 10 instructors of the taxation module. The survey focused on exploring the instructors' perceptions and willingness to use Moodle, as well as identifying potential barriers and training needs in technology. The results showed a generally positive attitude and the perception that, although additional training is required, integrating Moodle into the teaching of taxation is viable and beneficial. The documentary analysis provided additional context regarding existing practices related to ICT and Moodle specifically in educational settings, reinforcing the perception that its adoption can significantly improve interaction and understanding of fiscal concepts. The study concludes that implementing Moodle in the taxation module is feasible and could lead to a significant enhancement of the educational process
