Abstract
The article is on creative activities of ‘tireless and inexhaustible’ (according to Ivan Dziuba) Ukrainian literature patriarch Valeriy Shevchuk. It studies the way the writer uses myth-making to comprehend spiritual, moral and philosophic ambiguity in the world of the modern man in his parable «Moon Cuckoo from the Swallow’s Nest (Lastochkino Gnezdo)». The researcher combines theoretic and applicationoriented approaches to artistic interpretation of incorporating way of thinking, which is demonstrated in the narrative by Valeriy Shevchuk.
