The application of the case-method reaches two goals: further improvement of the communicative competence (linguistic and sociocultural) and the formation of professional qualities of students. Conclusions. The authors came to the conclusion that it is worth combining different approaches, using their strengths to achieve the desired result - the formation of communicative skills.
