TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ OKUMAYA İLİŞKİN TUTUM VE GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının okuma alışkanlıklarını ve okumaya ilişkin tutumlarını öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerine bağlı olarak belirlemektir. Araştırmada 139 kız, 122 erkek, toplam 261 öğrencinin görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Okumanın belirlenen altı alt başlığına ilişkin görüşler değerlendirilmiş ve bu altı alt başlıktan sadece okumanın yararlılık alt boyutuna ilişkin kız ve erkek öğrenciler arasında anlamlı bir farklılık elde edilememiştir. Diğer beş alt başlıkta (sevme, alışkanlık, gereklilik, istek, etki) kız öğrenciler lehine anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, kız öğrencilerin okuma alışkanlıklarının ve okumaya karşı ilgilerinin erkek öğrencilere oranla daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir.
