Abstract

The concern on environment is included in many fields of knowledge and is present in the routine of different professional areas. To provide information aiming at achieve an environmentally correct behavior, to create critical thoughts and conscious attitudes related to our ecosystem are also some tasks of librarians. Putting in practice such librarians’ activities, through non-conventional methods, was the reason for the development of this project, in which children from elementary school of Barão de Cerro Largo School, located in the town of Rio Grande, could participate in an Environmental Track, and see the destroyed and protected nature, through the assembly of settings and the tell of a children’s story.
