Abstract
Hospice and palliative care is an interdisciplinary, intensively developing field. Its center of focus is a terminal patient and their family. The study shows the historical background of the emergence and development of the hospice in Zielona Góra, which in 2014 celebrated its 25th anniversary. Opieka hospicyjno-paliatywna jest dziedziną interdyscyplinarną, intensywnie się rozwijającą. W jej centrum znajduje się terminalny pacjent i jego rodzina. W niniejszym opracowaniu przedstawiono na tle historycznym powstanie i rozwój zielonogórskiego hospicjum, które w 2014 r. obchodziło swoje 25-lecie.
