Journal Title: Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences - Year 2019, Vol 8, Issue 14

Abstract

PRESENTATION OF CASE A 45-year-old, male patient was admitted to our hospital 3 hours after the sudden onset of abdominal pain. His epigastric region had a swelling and he was diagnosed with an irreducible epigastric hernia. On ultrasonography, there was a 25 x 17 mm2 sized anechoic lesion with internal echoes in anterior abdominal wall with about 24 mm sized anterior abdominal wall muscle defect in the epigastric region. Through this defect herniation of omental fat occurred on coughing.
