Journal Title: Medpulse International Journal of Pathology - Year 2019, Vol 10, Issue 3

Abstract

Aim:Determine the relationship between various coagulation parameters such as Platelet Count, Prothrombin time, Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time, and D-Dimer in Normotensive and women with Pregnancy induced hypertension in their 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Objectives:To study and compare the changes in platelet count, Prothrombin time and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time, and D-dimer in pregnancy induced hypertensive patients and normal pregnant women in their third trimester. To correlate the above coagulation parameters with the severity of pregnancy induced hypertension.
