A CONCEPT OUT OF SIGHT IN THE SOCIOLOGY OF MARX: “DIVISION OF LABOR”

Abstract
The Sociological concept of division of labor has been discussed in various forms and perspectives. Especially, Durkheim is known as the one who most intensively a laborated this concept. On the other han, togather wiht durkheim, Marx and Weber also deeply analyzed the role of division of labor in social context. While Marx claims that the division of laber in its roots, leads to exploitation, Weber and Durkheim argue that it is an inevitable phenomenon emerginig in social formation. In this study we will firstly explain the meaning of division of labor in general and secondly its place in the total systematic of Marx Sociology.
