Journal Title: Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal - Year 2022, Vol 4, Issue 2

Abstract

The aim of this study was to see if there was a correlation between the selected individuals' Quality of Life and their Demographic Profile (Age, Sex, Year Level, and Family Socio Economic Status), as well as their mental health (Anxiety, Stress, and Depression). This study employed a correlational approach to analyze the answers of 143 psychology students from a particular institution in Metro Manila. According to the results of the Mental Health of the Participants survey, the majority of the participants reported really severe anxiety symptoms as a result of the pandemic. Furthermore, the individuals are under a great deal of stress, and the majority of them, according to the DASS-21, exhibit quite severe depression symptoms. The quality of life and mental health of the participants are highly connected with their age, gender, year level, and family socioeconomic situation. There is a significant low positive correlation between mental health sub-variables such as anxiety, stress, and depression and overall quality of life. Anxiety, stress, and depression all have an impact on one's quality of life, according to the findings.
