A Critical Evaluation of NLP Books

Abstract
Various approaches that focused on communication skills have become influential in today’s world. Education for developing communication skills has turned out to be an indivisible part of adult education. These approaches which handles communication within the framework of interpersonal communication makes narrower the content of communication.In spite of this, this “new” communication approaches which is also dominant in the personal development literature claims that its approach to communication is equalitarian, participatory, democratic, human-oriented, new, qualitative and supports free, open and friendly communication. This study investigates the validity of these claims by examining the guide books.
