A Novel End-To-End QoS Framework Over Heterogeneous Networks - An Architectural Approach
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2010, Vol 51, Issue 2
Abstract
End-to-end QoS (Quality of Service) provisioning over heterogeneous networks is a major challenge. The poor communication between Service Providers, the increasing complexity of the supported services, the need for fulfillment of end-to-end requirements represent the main problems to be solved by the new QoS frameworks. This paper presents a novel system architecture for an end-to-end QoS framework over heterogeneous networks, that aims to guarantee network performances and to provision end-to-end QoS over multiple autonomous systems.

On The Choice Of The Method For Obtaining The Room Impulse Response
The paper presents an overview on the direct or indirect methods used to obtain the acoustic room impulse responses. The analysis of the most relevant methods is based on experimental measurements and the goal is to ach...
Safe Pre-Pass Software Bypassing for Transport Triggered Processors
The Transport Triggered Architecture is an architectural style where the internal transport buses of a processor are exposed in the instruction set. Since software has full control over data transports, data can be direc...
A Novel Approach for Efficiency Enhancement and Size Miniaturization of UWB Printed Antennas
The printed antenna is one of the most preferred antenna structures for low cost and compact design of wireless communication systems. In this paper we have investigated a new approach for improving the radiation efficie...
Study of the Decoding Complexity for Rateless Erasure Codes
Over the Internet, bit errors within the data packets translate into packet losses at the higher layers of the OSI model, yielding a packet erasure channel. Modern erasure correcting codes promise to offer a very simple...
On Replication In Design Of Experiments
Modern electronic technology brings systems of higher complexity leading to the need of new analysis techniques. Using Design of Experiment (DoE) and one of its main principles, i.e. replication, we applied controlled v...
