A Refinement of the Square Wave Phase Noise Evaluation
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 1
Abstract
Oscillators are often followed by square wave forming circuits and frequency dividers. Traditionally, the level of the phase noise, transferred from the oscillator outputs to the square waves obtained is calculated ignoring the correlations in the oscillator phase noise spectrum. In this paper, accurate expressions are derived, taking into account the phase noise mechanisms in the oscillators. The phase noise power spectral densities are calculated in both the traditional way and by using the proposed expressions and they are compared. The situations where the proposed expressions can be useful are identified.

Rectangular Strain-Rosette Method for Measuring the Mode I Stress-Intensity Factor KI and T-stress
In this paper, a new experimental technique for measuring Stress Intensity Factor (SIF) and T-stress under mode I loading is developed. The expressions of the normal and tangential strains close to the crack tip are give...
Crude Oil Importation and Exportation in Nigeria: An Exploratory and Comparative Study
Nigeria is an oil producing country and crude oil is an important asset to its economy. This research focuses on the analysis of importation and exportation of crude oil products (measured in million barrels). Comparison...
Random Valued Impulse Noise Removal Using Region Based Detection Approach
Removal of random valued noisy pixel is extremely challenging when the noise density is above 50%. The existing filters are generally not capable of eliminating such noise when density is above 70%. In this paper a regio...
