ACADEMIC APPROACHES TOTHE DEFINITION OF THE PHENOMEN A “TEAM” and “TEAMWORK”

Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the concepts “team” and “teamwork”, as well as views of some academics on the definition of these phenomena. The author focused her attention on the systematics of significant charac- teristics of a team, and proved that teamwork is impossible without coordinated actions, open communication, cohesion and joint decision-making. The academic works on choosing appropriate definitions for the concepts “team” and “teamwork” have become inherent in the training of future pediatricians.
