Abstract
This article provides information about the X International scientific conference «Factors in experimental evolution of organisms» dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the publication ofGregor Mendel’s results "experiments on plant hybrids" and the 110th anniversary of the birth of Erwin Chargaff and also information about the associated with the conference Symposium «Plant Genome VIII», dedicated to 75th anniversary of Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Dr. Biol. Sciences, Yu.M. Syvolap. The event was held in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) from the 14th–18th of September and was attended by 85 scientists, educators, and PhD students. The paper reviews the scientific reports presented at the conference and briefly outlines their content. The best talks and articles selected by the International Scientific Committee of the conference have been noted.Keywords: genetics, evolution, breeding, biotechnology, ecology.
