ACTIVATION OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE BY APPLYING OF THE EUROPEAN UNION EXPERIENCE

Abstract
Geographical structure and dynamics of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Ukraine have been analyzed in the article. The structure of the innovation system and the main directions of the EU innovation policy have been considered. The dynamics of innovation and investment activity of the Ukraine has been analyzed and determined. The main problems of the reduction of innovative investment activity in the region have been identified. On the basis of the analysis of European innovative development, ways of activating innovation and investment processes in Ukraine, effective cooperation with the main countries producing high technologies and adapting best practices to national conditions have been suggested.
