Adaptation of the state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of social and economic security to modern realities

Abstract

Problem setting. The current state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of the social and economic security has to proceed from the need of steady increase in social indicators and also growth of real income of the population as fixed assets of overcoming falling of the standard of living and main way of fight against mass poverty and other current social and economic threats. Recent research and publication analysis. Numerous scientists have devoted their scientific works to the questions of ensuring of the social and economic security. However the questions of formation of effective state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of the social and economic security still need additional studying. Paper objective. The paper objective is adaptation of the state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of the social and economic security to modern realities. Paper main body. The adaptation of the state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of the social and economic security to modern realities is carried out in the article. In particular, the directions of the State program of social and economic progress of Ukraine on prospect are defined. The main priorities of prevention of the social and economic threats are allocated. Conclusions of the research. The following directions of the State program of social and economic progress of Ukraine on prospect are defined: the policy in the field of production; the policy in the sphere of employment; the policy for the population income. The main priorities of prevention of the social and economic threats are allocated: timely indexation of the population income; providing of the minimum social guarantees on income; regulation of the minimum standards; granting privileges; obligatory social insurance; social security; social help. It is emphasized that in general the state policy of Ukraine on ensuring of the social and economic security needs to be improved taking into account the specific features determined by the gross weight of competitive production of key branches in the country total production, existence of the export sector of economy, resource potential, in particular, scientific one and also by income.
