Adaptive Method Using Controlled Grid Deformation
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 3
Abstract
The paper presents an adaptive method using the controlled grid deformation over an elastic, isotropic and continuous domain. The adaptive process is controlled with the principal strains and principal strain directions and uses the finite elements method. Numerical results are presented for several test cases.

Neuro-fuzzy control synthesis for hydrostatic type servoactuators. Experimental results
Continuing recent works of the authors, the paper shows the developing and the application of a neuro-fuzzy control law to the positioning outer loop of a hydrostatic type servoactuator. Experimental results are presente...
Control of uncertain systems by feedback linearization with neural networks augmentation. Part II. Controller validation by numerical simulation
The paper was conceived in two parts. Part I, previously published in this journal, highlighted the main steps of adaptive output feedback control for non-affine uncertain systems, having a known relative degree. The mai...
Aerodynamic performance prediction of Darrieus-type wind turbines
The prediction of Darrieus wind turbine aerodynamic performances provides the necessary design and operational data base related to the wind potential. In this sense it provides the type of turbine suitable to the area w...
Numerical considerations regarding the simulation of an aircraft in the approaching phase for landing
This paper deals with numerical considerations regarding the simulation of the attitude of an aircraft in the approaching phase for landing. The state of the art is analyzed in the first section; the description of the p...
Aerodynamic Analysis of UAVs. MFD Nimbus
The robotic airborne systems have undergone a rapid development due to information requirements with data from areas of interest and technological miniaturization. Although these aerial systems have high capabilities, th...
