Adolescents’ readiness for career planning. A comparative analysis of students with motor disabilities and nondisabled students

Abstract

The article deals with the issue of readiness for career planning in students who are about tograduate from high school. This paper is a report on comparative research on students with motordisabilities and nondisabled students. The Career Orientation Questionnaire was used in the researchto measure the level of information on education and career students have, and to determinetheir decisions on career choices. Participants were 200 senior high school students aged 18–21.A quota sampling method was used to select participants: 100 students with motor disabilities and100 nondisabled students. The research findings show a statistically significant relationship betweenthe level of information on education and career students have and their readiness for makingcareer choices.
