AESTHETICS OF MEDIEVAL CITY: THE PICTURESQUE AND LITERARY IMAGE

Abstract
Aesthetic principles of creation of an image of city in medieval painting and the literature are analyzed. Evolution of image-bearing art topography during from XIII till XV centuries conditionality of art vision of city is traced by a specific character of attitude of the medieval person is accented.
