Abstract
In the article it has been investigated typological features of the ambivalent semantics of our / their space in the novels "A Little Drama" by V. Pidmohylny and "Lady Chatterley’s Lover" by D. Lawrence. The world of natural feelings is considered an ideal space, it is opposed to the mechanical space of the outside world. The characteristic feature of the works is the alienation of "our" space, caused by the interference of an external "theirs", which destroys the harmony of natural existence.
