An epidermal cyst localized in perineum: a case report

Abstract

Benign epidermal cysts are developed by intussusception of the epidermal tissue to dermis or subcutaneous tissue. It occurs mostly secondary to trauma. This patient was admitted to our clinic with vulvar itching and a mass in the genital area. Surgical excision was performed. Possibility of epidermal cysts in patients with vulvar swelling should be considered.
