Analisis Komoditas Unggulan Pada Sub Sektor Tanaman Bahan Makanan Dengan Metode Reveleated Comvaratif Adventage (RCA) Dan Growth Method Ratio (MRP) Di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The diversity of the geography in area led to a difference in potential between the regions. This is closely related to the characteristics of each region. North Tapanuli Regency is an area where there are a lot of resources  should be optimized  to promote economic growth in the region. Of all the sub-sectors of agriculture food crops sub-sector is the largest contributor to the formation of GDP North  Tapanuli Regency, but the magnitude of this contribution from year to year tends to decrease. This study aims to:(1) To determine the competitiveness of the commodity sub-sectors of food ingredients in North Tapanuli regency. (2) To determine the potential commodity to be developed in North Tapanuli .In this study, the data used are secondary data released by the central Beurau of statistics  of North Tapanuli and central Beurau of statistics  of  North Sumatera which later on though again by the author. The analysis used is the analysis  Reveleated Comvaratif adventage (RCA), Growth Ratio Method (MRP). Analisys RCA is a tool to used to see the product competitiveness in the market area of ​​reference, while the MRP is an analysis tool that is used to see where the potential sectors developed. In the economy of North Tapanuli the commodities that are competitive in the market of North Sumatera as a reference region is corn, peanut, onion, and cauliflower. Commodity developed and become viable commodity is a commodity peanuts and sweet potatoes. Although there are not yet included in the commodity and commodity potential, but it still can be developed as a commodity that has become a commodity is expected to encourage the growing commodity.
