Analysis of the quality of services in university centers

Abstract

In this work, the level of perception of students about the quality of service in university centers was analyzed. For this, 684 undergraduate students from a randomly chosen study program participated, to whom a scale was applied that attempts to calculate what is expected of the educational service. It was found that the level of perception is acceptable with a tendency to be good on the quality of the service provided by the university, no statistically significant differences were found according to the student's occupation, however, if differences were found according to gender and center of studies evaluated. Therefore, the quality of the service accepted by the university student is reflected in the physical aspect, the modernization and the equipment, specifying that the administrative personnel must be better trained to provide adequate customer service.
