Analysis of the system of labor contracts in the French republic

Abstract
Introduction. Ukraine signed the Association Agreement with the European Union. The action plan to fulfill the requirements of association includes bringing Ukrainian labor legislation of European standards. France is one of the most influential EU member States from economic and political points of view, as well as one of the biggest labor markets in Europe. That is why the issue of labor contract in France is very relevant from the point of view of approximation of labor legislation of Ukraine to the EU standards. The purpose of this study is to consider the general peculiarities of conclusion of a labor contract in France, to analyze the types of labor contracts under legislation of the French Republic, to make an overview of prospects of introduction of certain types of labor contracts in Ukraine. Results. Open-ended labor contract remains the most conventional type of labor contract in France. Fixed-term labor contract can be concluded for performance of certain types of work, whose peculiarities do not allow concluding open-ended labor contracts. It is considered as a temporary measure and not a permanent form of employment. Temporary-work labor contract implies involvement, in addition to the employer and the employee, of the third party – a temporary work agency that concludes a labor contract with the employee and offers services of temporary work to employers. Intermittent labor contract is an open-ended labor contract concluded with representatives of artistic professions, professional sportsmen, employees involved in organization of periodic cultural events etc. Work-based training labor contract that has two possible forms, apprenticeship labor contract and professionalization labor contract is a means of professional integration of youth, unemployed persons and persons with special needs. Conclusion. We can say that the system of labor contacts in France in very flexible, it allows to different categories of employees (youth, students, elderly persons, representatives of artistic professions, disables persons) to realize in the fullest manner their right to work and related rights. In France there are several types of interesting labor contracts, introduction of which in Ukraine would give the possibility to fully realize their professional potential to a wider number of citizens taking into account individual features of different categories of employees. This subject requires a further study in terms of possibility and economic expedience of introduction of these types of labor contracts, possible introduction of relevant amendments to the Labor Code of Ukraine.
