ANCIENT GREEK PERIOD OF JUDITIAL RHETORIC FORMATION

Abstract
The process of the birth of ancient rhetoric should be associated with the mentality of ancient Greek society, which primarily manifests itself in various literary sources that have survived to this day. In the formation of rhetoric as a phenomenon of culture can be conditionally distinguished period of amateur eloquence (for example, the poems of Homer) and the period of eloquence of a professional, that is, paid activity. The development of professional eloquence is due to the practice of public discussion of any issues that have become widespread as a result of the reforms of Efialet and Pericles. Subsequently, the Laws of Solon gave an impetus to the approval of a competitive litigation, and, accordingly, to the formation of judicial eloquence.
