Applications of Data Mining Techniques In Health Insurance
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 12
Abstract
Data mining is used to extract patterns in a huge data set. The hidden information can easily be fetched out using the different techniques of data mining. Market Basket Analysis is such a widely used technique which is basically used to get frequent data set. The meaning of basket is collection of transaction data items taken in a transaction item set. It uses mathematical measures like Confidence, Support and Lift. In this paper there is a small effort to make use of Market-Basket Analysis or Association Rule Mining for knowledge discovery in the Health Insurance Company to support decision making using knowledge as premeditated factor. In this paper, also there is a use of different data mining techniques like association rules, clustering, classification etc. for knowledge discovery in health insurance business. These anticipated data mining techniques and the decision- maker may explore the extension of health insurance activities to give the more strength in the present health insurance sector.

Reduce Handoff Call Drop Rate in Mobile Communication Networks a Survey
In wireless communication networks handoff is used to provide the communication everywhere to moving user. Many researchers proposed various handoff algorithm to reduce call drop rate. These algorithms have many disadva...
Secure Dynamic Source Routing Using Node’s Faith Value in Mobile Ad-Hoc Network
A mobile ad-hoc network is an autonomous group of mobile users that communicate over reasonably slow wireless links. The network topology may vary rapidly over time, because the nodes are mobile. The network is decentra...
A Research Paper on Heat Transfer in Notch Fin and UN Notch Fin
We studied the experimental observation and simulation for rectangular unnotched fin validated for different thermal load (i.e., 20W, 30W, 40W, 50W) .After that we also simulated different cases (i.e., 20W, 30W, 40W, 50...
