Abstract
Arabii au fost primii care au descris ca metoda de spargere a codurilor, analiza frecventei literelor intr-un text. Aceasta comunicare isi propune sa arate influenta culturii Islamice in inceputurile criptografiei. In epoca actuala, securitatea transmiterii datelor este practic imposibila fara utiluzarea unor sisteme criptografice puternice pentru securizarea lor.
