АРХІТЕКТУРНО-ТИПОЛОГІЧНІ ОСНОВИ ПРОЕКТУВАННЯ ВЕЛОСТАНЦІЙ

Abstract
The article analyzes the world experience in the construction of bicycle facilities and outlines the development of bicycle infrastructure in Ukraine. The definition of "bicycle station" is given and the features of its functional planning organization are emphasized, depending on the location and presence or absence of additional services. On the basis of this were found monofunctional (A) and polyfunctional (B) types of bicycle stations. Type A is characterized by the presence of the main function – the storage of bicycles without auxiliary processes. Type B with the main storage function is proposed to subdivide into subtypes depending on the secondary functions: with a minimum of auxiliary functional processes for serving a bicycle or cyclist; with full vehicle service and cyclist. The functional plan layout of accommodation of groups of premises or functional areas of a bicycle station is proposed to be laid in accordance with the sequence of processing operations based on the selected type. Proposals for the architectural organization of bicycle stations are based on the size of the structure and configuration in terms of compositional characteristics of surrounding buildings.
