Aşırtmalı ve Kapışmalı Aba Güreşi Gençler Türkiye Şampiyonasına Katılan Sporcuların Görsel ve İşitsel Reaksiyon Sürelerinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract
Overlapping and Confrontational aba wrestling, which is one of the traditional wrestling, has recently taken a more active place in the society and is followed closely. In this study, it is aimed to compare the visual and auditory reaction times of the athletes participating in the overlapping and confrontational aba wrestling youth Turkish championship. Our study included over-the-top (n=12) and competitive (n=9) athletes wrestling in the chief wrestler category participating in the Youth Turkey Championship. Wrestlers participated in the study on a voluntary basis. Measurements were taken for visual and auditory reaction time using computer programs.Before the start of the study, the athletes participating in the study were informed about the tests and the process. SPSS package program was used for statistical analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the statistical analysis, a statistically significant difference was found between the confrontational aba wrestling athletes and the overlapping aba wrestling, and between visual reaction (fastest), visual reaction (slowest) and visual reaction (average) (p<0.05). In addition, a significance was found in favor of the athletes participating in confrontational aba wrestling in the auditory reaction (fastest), auditory reaction (slowest) and auditory reaction (average) time values between the two groups (p<0.05). As a result; wrestlers compete dynamically in confrontational aba wrestling competitions. In overlapping aba wrestling, the competitions are more stable.
