Assessment of risk of Himalayan climbers in five European countries

Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 9, Issue 2

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the dimensions of risk taking in five European countries was Himalayan climbers. This study is a causal relationship. In the prospective study and practical. The population consists of 30 active Himalayan climbers Iranian and 20 Himalayan climbers from 5 European countries (Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Portugal) is. Given the size of the population, the study sample included 20 Iranians and 20 active Himalayan climbers Himalayan climbers of 5 European countries (Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Portugal) is. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The questionnaire was created to assess the risk taking variables (6 variables) is discussed. After collecting data using the software LISREL (structural equation) Statistical information is presented. The results showed that the model parameters ?2 = 38.69, df= 23, P-value= 0.01, RMSEA= 0.07, GFI = 0.95, AGFI= 0.92 was. Since the ratio of chi-square to degrees of freedom is less than 3, the lower the probability of 05/0, goodness of fit index (GFI) and adjusted goodness of fit index (AGFI) is 9/0 above, we can say that this model of the fit is good. All aspects of risk taking than the risk taking of lack of time and financial condition are affected. All factors affecting the risk taking, the risk taking are directly related to non-sensory experience that is inversely related to money.
