Auf der Suche nach einer grammatischen Erklärung des Code-Switching: empirische Überprüfung ausgewählter syntaktischer Beschränkungen und der Triggering-Hypothese
Journal Title: Lublin Studies in Modern Languages and Literature - Year 2016, Vol 40, Issue 40
Abstract
Code-switching appears among multilingual speakers and means switching fluently from one language to another. Since the 70s some research has been carried out on code-switching from the syntactic point of view. Its main purpose is to determine in which parts of a sentence code-switching cannot appear. The aim of the present study is to verify empirically the selected grammatical constraints on codeswitching as well the Triggering-Hypothesis (Clyne 1967) on the basis of an interview transcript with a famous neurobiologist Eric Kandel.
