Badania indukcyjnego rekuperatora energii drgań pojazdu

Abstract

The article presents the results of initial research concerning the process of kinetic energy recuperation from a driver’s seat vibration. The induction recuperator of vibration energy is installed under a driver’s seat in a motor vehicle. It allows to convert the kinetic energy of the vibrating seat into the electric one. This unit supports the gas shock absorber. It consists of a steel core with cylinder-shaped permanent magnets installed under the driver’s seat. The magnets make a reciprocating motion inside a copper wire coil., As a result of electromagnetic induction, the generated current is eventually stored in the vehicle’s accumulator. In order to research the efficiency of the present solution, a stand, for testing the process of vibration energy recuperation, was built. The aim of the research was to verify the assumed construction parameters of the induction recuperator and to determine its working parameters scope.
