Journal Title: International Research Journal of Pharmacy (IRJP) - Year 2014, Vol 5, Issue 11

Abstract

Silene L. is one of the most recognized and widespread genus of Caryophyllaceae family, with more than 700 species on the earth. It is originated from the Mediterranean Region, and this genus is spread out in mild climates all over the world.
