CALCULATED AND EXPERIMENTAL PARAMETERS OF COMBUSTION AND DETONATION MIXTURES BASED ON METHANE AND COAL DUST

Abstract

Presented computational and experimental data of mixtures of combustion and detonation parameters of methane - oxygen - nitrogen, methane - air, coal dust - oxygen, carbon dust - air, methane - air - coal dust, ... (typical for accidental explosions in mines) in a wide range of initial concentration of the fuel mixture components and its stoichiometric ratio. Analysis of the current status of data on mixtures of combustion and detonation parameters of methane - air - coal dust allows us to formulate proposals on promising practices in prevention and mitigation of mine explosions.
