Calculation of transferred charges from a water droplet with a contact angle 𝛉 in a triboelectric nanogenerator
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Science Invention - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 10
Abstract
We have analytically calculated the induced charges on the bottom of asubstrate that has aphobic or philic surface on whicha water droplet is positioned with a contact angle 𝜃 on its top surface. Thiswill be helpful forestimatingthequantity of transferred charges according to the contact surface between the charged droplet and the substrate in a triboelectric nanogenerator system.

A Note on Mean Sum Square Prime Labeling
Mean sum square prime labeling of a graph is the labeling of the vertices with {0,1,2---,p-1} and the edges with mean of the square of the sum of the labels of the incident vertices or mean of the square of the sum of th...
Optimization Concepts in Transportation Sector
Use of optimization concepts in engineering stream is diverse and while coming to civil engineering it is used in many practical applications. While peculiarly coming to transportation the same is used in number of pract...
Retrofitting of RCC Beams Weak in Shear with BFRP Wraps
This paper present an experimental investigation on retrofitting RCC beam weak in shear using BFRP wraps. BFRP stands for basalt fiber reinforced polymer. Six number of RCC beams of size 100x100x750mm were prepared and t...
Capacitive Effects on Electrical Lines And Cables
Due to the linear capacitances which exist between the various active conductors in pairs, and between the conductors and the ground plane, the high voltage lines generate reactive energy in considerable quantity. This a...
