Abstract
The article examines an additional set of rights and freedoms of citizens of the European Union, guaranteed by the Lisbon Treaty amending the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty establishing the European Community. The scope and content of these rights directly depending on the citizenship of the EU is analyzed.
