CATEGORY OF THE LEGAL AWARENESS IN THE VIEWS OF ANTIQUES PHILOSOPHY: PHILOSOPHICAL AND LEGAL ANALYSIS

Abstract
The article analyzes the views of the philosophers of Antiquity on the category of legal awareness. Philosophers used in their writings such categories as the mind, will, virtue, justice, law-abiding. They believed that laws are a means of regulating life in society. An important role was given to education, which should educate people about the correct attitude to the law. The article deals with the relationship between human consciousness and law, justice and obedience to laws/ Philosophers expressed ideas that, in our opinion, are a modern understanding of legal awareness.
