Changes in energy policy implications and consequences of the oil to gas in Iran's foreign policy

Abstract

Take advantage of the economic potential of countries in its foreign policy and national energy and energy policy framework, new strategies and growth and economic development and national security interests have taken. But economic failure and incompetence in foreign policy orientation has led to the scientific literature and scholarly works in the field of political economy energy despite the funds related to energy and foreign policy cannot be neglected. However, this article aims to clear the area of foreign policy and the pathology of the relationship between energy, from another perspective representation of both their importance and the importance of the functions that until now were considered as individual pay. Following such considerations, to Iran as a country with huge oil and gas reserves within national borders and on its energy diplomacy tool of the global political economy is to maximize gains. However, often in foreign policy, the economy looks less subject to political considerations had. As a result, trade in energy to overcome the lack of respect to look at long-term and strategic approach to matters outside the energy sector, energy diplomacy, speaks, indicates that the change in general conditions which influence regional and international needs to consider a long-term strategy part, including foreign policy. In this paper, we define and explain the field of energy diplomacy, energy diplomacy in relations with the national interests and goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Iran to the barriers to accessing new model will be discussed.
