CHARAKTERYSTYKA MAPY TOPOGRAFICZNEJ ORAZ JEJ WYKORZYSTANIE PRZEZ DOWÓDCĘ PODODDZIAŁU

Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę map topograficznych wykorzystywanych na niższych szczeblach dowodzenia. Współczesne pole walki wymaga od wszystkich dowódców umiejętności podejmowania właściwych decyzji podczas kierowania ludźmi w walce. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, bardzo często należy dokonać właściwej oceny realiów, w jakich wykonuje się postawione zadanie. Chcąc dobrze przygotować dowódców do nowych wyzwań należy nauczyć ich właściwej interpretacji i oceny terenu, w którym się znajdują oraz poprawnie czytać mapę topograficzną.
