Charakterystyka odczynu zapalnego

Abstract
Intensywność odczynu zapalnego toczącego się w strukturze tkankowej lub narządowej jest zależna od sprawności mechanizmów odpornościowych organizmu, które ograniczają rozległość tego procesu. Znaczący wpływ na dynamikę zapalenia ma rodzaj czynnika wywołującego zapalenie oraz jego siła. Szybka eliminacja czynnika zapalnego i jego biologicznych następstw świadczy o sprawnych mechanizmach adaptacyjnych organizmu. Odczyn zapalny jest wyrazem swoistej, ukierunkowanej i wzmożonej odpowiedzi biochemicznej, hematologicznej oraz immunologicznej na poziomie lokalnym lub ogólnoustrojowym.
