Chemical synthesis and study of structural and optoelectronic properties of CdS thin films: Effect of SILAR growth cycles
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 9, Issue 3
Abstract
CdS thin films were deposited on glass substrates by using successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method at room temperature. The effect of SILAR growth cycles on structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of the films has been studied. The thickness of the deposited film is measured by employing weight difference method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) studies showed that all the films exhibit polycrystalline nature and are covered well with glass substrates. The values of average crystallite size were found to be 53 nm, 58 nm, 63 nm and 71 nm corresponding to the thin films deposited with 30, 40, 50 and 60 SILAR growth cycles respectively. From the UV–VIS spectra of the deposited thin films, it was seen that both the absorption properties and energy bandgap of the films changes with increasing number of SILAR growth cycles. A decrease of electrical resistivity has been observed with increasing SILAR growth cycles.

In situ measurement shows ocean boundary layer physical processes control catastrophic global warming.
The infrared greenhouse gas heat trap at the top of the atmosphere controls anthropogenic global warming (AGW) heat balance. Processes at the top of the ocean similarly control the 93% of AGW in the oceans. The tropics a...
The Effect of Water Salinity on Permeability of Oil Reservoir
The recovery of oil from clay-sandstone as revealed by past studies can be improved by increasing the concentration of the salinity in the core. This is as a result of the sensitivity of the clay-sandstone to the water s...
A FIXED POINT APPROACH TO THE STABILITY OF GENERAL QUADRATIC EULER-LAGRANGE FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS IN INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY SPACES
In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a general k-quadratic Euler-Lagrange functional equation:for any fixed positive integer in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces using a fixed point method.
The Graviton: An Emergent Solution From The Equivalence of Universal Magnetic Field Intensity and Radiant Flux Density
Measurements have shown an inverse association between natural electromagnetic intensities and irradiance from background photons. In general for every ~10-12 W·m-2 increase in photon radiant flux densitythere was a1 nT...
