Abstract
Twenty-one of the 24 Ciidae species so far recorded in the Przemyśl Foothills were found in this study. There were first records from this region for eight species. The occurrence of Strigocis bicornis (Mellié, 1849) in Poland was confirmed. As a result of this study, the number of species known from the Eastern Beskid Mts. has increased to 34, and in Poland as a whole to 45.
