Citizen budget as a form of management for local development

Abstract
When the topic of civic budget is considered as a whole, it is obvious that it is quite an important way of managing local development. Over the years, it has gained followers. Authorities eagerly use such a possibility of management of local development in their community and their country, which is huge point of satisfaction in the inhabitant’s point of view. The raised awareness and benefits, caused by implemented projects of the civic budget, are reasons of society’s increased involvement. The best proof of this are the projects introduced in two Polish cities, Wroclaw and Gdansk.
