Abstract
The article outlines the main criteria that help to explore the differences and similarities in the professional activity of the cognitive-behavioural therapist and gestalt therapist. The comparative analysis of the models that provide psychotherapeutic assistance by means of cognitive-behavioural therapy and gestalt therapy is accomplished.
