Comparative study between two three-dimensional metrology software
Journal Title: Recueil de mécanique - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
This article presents a comparative study between two three-dimensional metrology software, the Metrosoft software of the "Metromec" machine of the National Polytechnic School of Oran and the Geoverif experimental software developed by PAIREL, SYMME Laboratory. Both softwares use the least squares fit criterion, which is the most commonly used criterion on Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). We will present in this work, an application to measure the defect form (flatness) of an engine bearing, following three swings. We will also present a probing strategy in such a way as to have a cloud of points that is fairly representative of the real surface of the work piece.

Modeling the radiate and energy balance of a building located in the Adrar region
In this paper, we study the effect of temperature and external solar flow on the evolution of daily solar radiation incidental on the walls of a building located in the ADARAR region of Algeria. The numerical simulations...
The deformation modes of copper alloys under indenter
The instrumented indentation test has been widely used and studied because of the ease it provides for estimating the mechanical properties of materials from the force-displacement curve for miniature material volumes. D...
Experimental and numerical evaluation of the implant-cement strength of the femoral prosthesis
This study investigated the influence of Implant surface roughness on the resistance of the implant–cement interface. Mechanical fixation at the implant–cement interface was evaluated in vitro using shear loading with st...
Thermodynamic study and analysis of thermohydraulic cycle for power generation
This paper is devoted to the study and analysis of the thermohydraulic process used for power generation from low potential heat sinks as thermal-solar and geothermal resources. The machine studied operates according to...
Reliability techniques and Coupled BEM/FEM for interaction pile-soil
This paper deals with the development of a computational code for the modelling and verification of safety in relation to limit states of piles found in foundations of current structures. To this end, it makes use of rel...
