Results: For evalution of tubal patency, Hydrotubation has sensitivity 84.61% and specificity of 95.12%. SSG had sensitivity of 91.67% and specificity of 97.50% for evalution of tubal patency. In contrast,in HSG for evalution of tubal patency, the sensitivity is 78.57% and specificity is 92.85%. Conclusion: Hydrotubation appears to be inexpensive, non-invasive, and quick, of no risk of ionizing radiation, opd procedure and well tolerable first line diagnostic method for determining the tubal patency in infertility.
