COMPARISON BETWEEN THE CONCEPTS OF «LEGAL AID» AND «LEGAL SERVICE» IN THE ASPECT OF DETERMINING THE NATURE OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF LAWYER

Abstract
In the paper an analysis how the different views of scientists, and the position of Ukrainian lawmakers on the application of the concepts of “legal assistance” and “legal service”, particularly in the aspect of determining the nature of the professional activity of the lawyer. It indicates the absence of a unified point of view on the relation of the above concepts. The conclusion about the possibility of distinction between “legal aid” (“professional legal assistance”) and “legal services” as the subject for obtaining and providing to the subject, and on the mechanism of implementation and scope of legal regulation.
